Skiing Accident Kills 12 Year-Old, Then She Meets Jesus & Is Miraculously Healed!

Susanne shares that her family didn’t speak about heaven or Jesus. She meets him for the first time at age twelve when she dies in a tragic accident. Her experience in the heavenly realm is still jumping off the pages of her Bible today! Her physical healing alone was so miraculous the hospital wanted to erect a plaque to commemorate the event. The kindness, warmth and joy of Jesus radiate beautifully from Susanne today and I am so honored to share her miracle! -  Julie Hedenborg

I am Susanne Seymoure, and I want to share with you a journey that transformed my life, a journey that took me from a tragic accident on a ski slope to an extraordinary encounter with Jesus Christ and a visit to heaven.

My story begins with a backdrop of my family’s miraculous survival through the Holocaust. My family’s history is marked by heroism and resilience, eventually leading us to migrate to the United States, where we hoped for a new beginning. At the age of 12, my life took a dramatic turn during a skiing trip with my family. It was supposed to be a beautiful day on a private ski slope, a day of joy and family bonding. However, it quickly turned into a nightmare. My scarf got caught in the ski lift cable, and the force broke my neck. The accident was horrific, and I was presumed dead for about 45 minutes.

As I lay in the snow, approaching what seemed like the end, I had an encounter that would forever change my understanding of life, death, and what lies beyond. A man approached me through a blinding light, introducing Himself as Jesus, accompanied by two angels wearing armor. I will never forget those hands that reached out to me. They radiated such love and peace, even information. It was almost overwhelming. He communicated with me, not through words but through a profound sense of love and understanding that transcended human language.

His eyes radiated a golden light, filled with compassion and wisdom. In those moments, He let me know He was my Savior, and I was safe. The eyes of Jesus were captivating. They capture you with love, with a peace that is grand and hard to describe. They had a very distinct glow of gold in them. I could say there were hues of different colors, but the color was secondary to the love you feel coming through them. I didn’t want to look away from Him. I get emotional just thinking about looking into His eyes.

Everyday Miracles

Jesus told me He was taking me home. He carried me to heaven, a kingdom organized and filled with beauty beyond comprehension. In heaven, I encountered a council of beings who deliberated on my fate. The feeling of being home was undeniable, yet I knew my family on Earth still needed me. I met Melchizedek, who imparted wisdom and showed me the records of all beings. He was very serious. The knowledge and love I received in heaven was boundless.

Faced with the choice to stay in heaven or return to Earth, my heart was torn. Despite the allure of staying in this place of unconditional love, my thoughts turned to my mother, who had already endured so much loss. I couldn’t bear the thought of adding to her pain. This concern for my mother played a crucial role in the council’s discussion about my fate. In the end, I chose to return to Earth. There was such care from everyone in heaven. They explained to me that it was not going to be easy and that returning to this life would mean pain. The longer I was there I wanted to stay, but my final decision was to return to my grieving mother.

Just before Jesus took me back, I witnessed something even more extraordinary. I looked over the hills and there were points of light that formed what I can only refer to as a massive golden hand of light. It extended and connected to Jesus and they were one. I was overcome with this awareness of the expanse of this Kingdom. My spirit felt more alive than I can explain in witnessing this light. Immediately, as that light touched me, we returned to the scene and Jesus stayed with me and comforted me until my family arrived. I remember my spirit coming back into my body and suddenly feeling the cold snow. Jesus told me He would always be with me.

As my family arrived they were curious about who I was talking to and shocked to see me very injured but alive. In spite of the trauma, I couldn’t contain my excitement for what I had experienced. It was the greatest event of my life. We call it my second birthday. The physical miraculous healing I experienced left the hospital staff in awe. The nuns wanted to erect a plaque to commemorate the undeniable miracle. My neck was healed, and I was alive against all odds.

Returning to Earth was not without its challenges. I struggled to reconcile the divine love and presence I had experienced in heaven with the reality of my physical existence. I sought Jesus in churches, longing to feel His presence as vividly as I did on the day of my accident. My journey led me to understand that the divine love I experienced is not confined to a place or a moment; it is always with us, guiding us through the challenges of life.

Before this incident, I had never read the Bible. As I began to read, it was amazing to see it come to life. It has given me context for so many things that I witnessed and helped me have an even deeper understanding of what I learned. It is so nice to know that we have such great help and love from heaven available to us if we choose it. God wants you to choose Him. If we are forced to love, it isn’t truly love.

One of the most profound moments in sharing my story came when I encountered a young man who had also experienced a visit to heaven. His family wheeled him toward me at a book signing, and when our eyes met, I saw the same golden light I had seen in Jesus’ eyes. He had been in a coma and had not spoken until that moment. His first words were to me, confirming that he too had met Jesus. He fell into my arms, shared what he experienced, and told me he didn’t want to come back. He had been through so much and was still processing the events. Knowing he was not alone gave him comfort. It was a moment I will never forget. This encounter was a powerful affirmation of the reality of heaven and the transformative power of these experiences.

Jesus healed me from this injury but has continued to guide me in life. He led me to a wonderful career in nursing to help bring healing to others. Ultimately He led me to teach nursing. I enjoyed such a blessed time in equipping those with a heart to serve with compassion. He has guided every aspect of my life, and I continue to walk with Him each day.

Jesus wants us to know that He is with us, always ready to welcome us with open arms, regardless of our past or the mistakes we think we’ve made. His love is unconditional, and He invites us to connect with Him. The closer you draw to Him, the more exciting life becomes. There is so much joy too, it is not about just reaching out to Him when you are down and out. Life is so much richer and more meaningful. Let Him work through you. Don’t be afraid, because He will never hurt you.

In sharing my story, I’ve learned that each of us has a unique journey with God. He meets us where we are, in our moments of doubt, fear, and even in our moments of joy. My encounter with Jesus on the ski slope was just the beginning of a lifelong relationship that has guided me through every step of my life. His promise to never leave me was not just for the moment of my return to this earthly life but for every moment that followed.
